The simple act of planting a tree can be fun; trees can provide you and your community with so many wonderful benefits – cooling shade, beauty, fresh fruit and many years of enjoyment... In the spirit of “summer bloom” five rose bushes were planted in a local park in Sunland, CA on July 4th weekend. Last week I went over to the park to see the rose bushes and they were thriving and bringing everyone joy! Summer has arrived sooner than later. It is officially beach weather hot in LA! I think time has crept in faster than we could imagine. In a few months, we're already going to be hitting mid-year. We are busy working on our second annual GET-A-CUE Challenge and planting our seeds of hope for all the cool things we want to do in the future! Look out it is going to be big! |

Shaun Livingston to Play Point Guard for the Oklahoma City Thunders! |

It’s official – Shaun has signed a multiyear contract with this new NBA team. Wearing jersey #14, he will play point guard and prove that he can be a fabulous regular for the Thunders. Congratulations to Oklahoma City and a winning season to come with Shaun on the team. Shaun was the number four, overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft and played for the LA Clippers.
