Shaun Livingston, L.A. Clippers point guard and founder of the Shaun Livingston Foundation (SLF) personally reached thousands of youth hopefuls at the 2008 Spring Health Festival for Children and Families. Livingston said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of LA’s Best Family Health Festival (www.lasbest.org) and to promote their message of health and wellness to children and families in Los Angeles. On Saturday, April 5 the Clipper phenomenon and urban youth leader earnestly dedicated time to contribute to a festival that educated young children and parents on a subject close to his heart and sport, health. He takes pride in knowing that he has been given the chance to support and encourage the next generation of youngsters, “Giving back is something I always had intended to do if life gave me that opportunity,”

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF THE SOUTH BAY WELCOMES NEWEST TEAM MEMBER

Harbor City, March 31, 2008 – On Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Los Angeles Clippers point guard Shaun Livingston will become the newest member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the South Bay.  Livingston will assist the Club in the rededication ceremony of the gym floor in its main site located in Harbor City.  The gym floor has been long overdue for resurfacing and thanks to the generous donation of Seniors Rule Basketball League; the youth of Harbor City will have a new gym floor!
