LOS ANGELES, Ca. – NBA’s Shaun Livingston and his Charitable Foundation will host their foundation kick-off and celebrity billiards tournament on Thursday, September 18, 2008.  The night will be filled with fun, laughs, and celebrity billiards to benefit the mission and programs of the Shaun Livingston Foundation. The Shaun Livingston’s inaugural “GET-A-CUE Challenge” will begin at 7 p.m. at Yankee Doodles located on the 3rd Street Promenade – Santa Monica, CA.

 “I wanted to host our foundation kick-off with a fun venue for a cause that is near and dear to my heart– creating an environment of success for our youngsters” said Livingston, who established his foundation in 2007. “It’s a chance to meet the community and raise awareness for the foundation”.

The Shaun Livingston Foundation’s leadership is composed of a host of committed professionals who are as interested in doing what is good for our children and our community. The foundation will continue to strive to plant the seeds of hope and provide excellent opportunities to create, provide and support programs for youngsters that focus on character building, academic excellence, physical and mental health, volunteerism, career planning and leadership. Shaun Livingston invites you to participate in this event to help drive that effort.
